I, Devin Hardin, am the owner and developer of Creative Donkey. I am a registered Democrat living in Florida, and I design websites and graphics for a handful of friends and my local Democratic party. The idea behind Creative Donkey came about after a few people expressed a need for local Democratic parties to have access to high quality graphics for social media, banners, yard signs, post cards, events etc but may not have someone available to create the graphics or the money to hire someone. Creative Donkey is not associated or partnered with any organizations.
Anyone looking for politial graphics supporting the Democratic party or containing Democratic topics and themes can use Creative Donkey. Individuals, democratic political committees and candidates are welcomed to use graphics from this site or submit graphics to make available on this site. This is not a place to promote businesses unless the business is involved in promoting or endorsing a Democratic candidate, organization, event, etc.
There is no cost to download and use the graphics available on our site. There is no membership fee either. All graphics are free. However, it does cost to maintain this site, so if you would like to donate to Creative Donkey to help cover these costs, your contribution is greatly appreciated. You can donate HERE. Please note that Creative Donkey is not a non profit organization and your donation is not tax deductible.
The graphics available on Creative Donkey have been designed by different individuals. Graphics will sometimes have the name and contact information of the creator, but this is not required and some creators may opt not to share that information. Creative Donkey will not provide that information if it is requested.
The majority of graphics will not have copyright protections and can be downloaded and altered. If an image has a copyright, it will be stated in the information provided with the graphic. Any copyrighted image has been given to Creative Donkey by the creator to share at no charge with no attribution required, but may not be altered or customized. I try to ensure that all images are original or have no copyright, but I can not guarantee it.
If you are currently not using or familiar with a graphics design program, I recommend you create a free account with Canva. Canva is a very user friendly graphics design program that will let you customize graphics with the features that are offered for free. You can create a Canva account HERE. Creative Donkey does not have a team that is dedicated to helping people and organizations customize graphics. However, feel free to contact me if you need help. I may be able to help depending on your needs; I just can not guarantee it.
It may be possible for you to receive a graphic in a size that is not available on the website. This will depend on who created the graphic and if the creator is willing to design the graphic in the requested size. If the graphic lists the contact information of the creator, please contact him/her directly. If there is no contact information, you may contact me at contact@creativedonkey.org, and will we try to help. However, it is not guaranteed that I can.
Creative Donkey does not have a team dedicated to designing graphics for individuals or organizations at this time.
Yes. I welcome people to submit their graphics to make available for free on Creative Donkey. You will find the submission form HERE. Once you have submitted the form along with the graphic (s), I will upload them to our site in a category (s) based on the content of the graphic, formats provided, and other information provided to me. I will contact you if I have any questions or issues. Please allow me at least 48 hours to upload the graphic (s) after you submit them and any issues are resolved. Creative Donkey reserves the right not to host a graphic for any reason.
All graphics uploaded to the site are in the PNG format, except for those that are linked to the PDF icon. If you need a graphic in another format, I may be able to help you. Please contact me at contact@creativedonkey.org if you have any questions regarding the format.
Creative Donkey is a pet project in its early stages of development. There will no doubt be technical issues along the way as well as changes to the layout, design, and functionality of the site as it is utilized more. I welcome any suggestions you may have regarding any aspect of the site and how I can improve the efficiency of the site and your experience using it. If you are having tecnical issues navigating the site or accessing a graphic, please email me at contact@creativedonkey.org. I will try to remedy the issue and assist you as soon as possible.
Creative Donkey is not responsible for the accuracy of the information, images, depictions, spelling or grammer in any graphic. If you find a mistake, you can reach out to me at contact@creativedonkey.org. I will do what I can to have the graphic corrected, but may not be able to.
